Director
Dr Nick McCarthy
Born and raised locally, Dr Nick McCarthy graduated from UWA in 2003, and has worked in private practice since. In 2007, Nick completed his primary examinations for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and in 2013 undertook a two year post-graduate diploma in aesthetic dentistry from the prestigious King’s College in London, passing with distinction.
Dr McCarthy’s passion for continuing education has gained him a wealth of knowledge across dental services. His main areas of professional interest include non-destructive dentistry, non-invasive smile enhancement and dental implant treatments. In all cases, he focuses on using multiple disciplines to achieve optimum outcomes with minimal long term impact. Nick is fascinated by the new opportunities in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry offered by evolving technologies including 3D imaging and printing. He is a member of the ADA, GIDE and the RACDS.
In the future, Dr McCarthy looks forward to completing further post-graduate studies in general dentistry and contributing to the development of the next generation of dentists by entering teaching and academia.
As a husband and father of three, he understands the importance of family care, and enjoys treating patients of all ages, with a very long-term view.
